Have you searched for ages for just the right dust extraction component and been unable to find anything? Have you ordered a replacement part ‘rated’ for your machinery, only to discover that it’s the wrong size, shape, or material to work correctly with your LEV systems? Do you need a replacement for an impossible-to-find part or one that just isn’t made anymore?

Custom dust extraction parts could be the answer. Dust Spares offers an affordable, bespoke part service to all our clients. If you can’t find what you’re looking for among our stock components, we’ll be more than happy to design it for you from the rough plans you provide. How does it work? Dust Spares uses a simple, three-step, CAD-empowered method to take components from a basic diagram to completion and implementation.

Step One: Initial Sketching And Dimensions

The first stage is up to you. When you get in touch with us by phone or email, our engineers will request that you send through a digital or physical drawing of the component you need.

This can be as simple as a rough shape or as complex as a full blueprint. What’s important, though, is that it’s accurate to your machinery. You can use tracing or an existing, worn part as a template to outline, if it helps. Try to specify what material you’d like the piece made out of too (e.g. rubber or metal).

It’s also essential that you include accurate measurements for each side of the component you order! We need to scale the part we design and ship to your specific machine, particularly if you’re ordering a part to match to an awkward fit.

Step Two: CAD Design And Manufacture

Once we’ve received your plans, we’ll transfer and fine-tune your specifications in our dedicated 3D CAD software. Using Computer-Aided Design allows us to use machine cutting with digital instructions to precisely tool and hone the custom part. CAD also allows us to work with a wide variety of materials and metals, helping to fit our custom dust extraction parts to almost any system. After cutting, we’ll apply any finishing (such as protective coating) that you specify as vital too.

Step Three: Testing And Shipping

Once we’ve made your part, we’ll put it through rigorous quality checks and stress testing to make sure that it’s reliable and durable in your systems. Once we’re satisfied, Dust Spares will package and ship your item to the address supplied. We offer worldwide express shipping via dedicated courier to businesses anywhere in the world.
