You ask we answer - New Courier
You ask we answer – Couriers
Over the past year we have witnessed first-hand how shipping costs in our industry have increased. In an effort to keep costs as competitive as possible for our customers, we have been hard at work looking at different courier options. On top of this observation, we have had many businesses and individuals asking for lower shipping costs, with no compromise on delivery times.
At Dust Spares we’re proud to continue developing with you in mind. We listen to all feedback and strive to make your life easier and bring you the best value.
Announcement and new rates
So today we are excited to announce the implementation of a second courier, DPD. This allows us to re-structure our costs and how we send orders.
Larger items like Spiral Ducting will still be shipped using our standard courier Tuffnells, as they accept larger/heavier parcels. Both Tuffnells and DPD offer next day delivery services*.
The implementation of DPD as a new courier will reduce the base cost across the business by around 17%, reducing the customers base carriage charge from £11.95 to £9.95 (subject to DPD being a delivery option), whilst still offering a fantastic speedy, next day service.
How it works
At checkout, if the products you have in your basket can go via DPD then this option will be available. We determine which items can go with DPD based on the size and weight of the products.
Dust Spares reserves the right to change the Courier option that has been selected by our Customers. This is to ensure the most suitable courier is used based on Order contents and courier availability
Thank you for taking the time listen to us, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you more in the new year.
