"Hi, in this video I am going to show you how the ductwork parts fit together. Here I have a selection of standard parts, all the standard parts are male ended.
Meaning that a bend fits nicely inside the spiral ducting. If you are wanting to fit a selection of parts together, you will need a female connector. The female connector is the same size as the spiral. We have two connectors - male and female
The way to tell the difference between the two is that the female has the ridge on the inside and the male has the ridge on the outside. To fit ductwork parts together, you take the female coupler, which fits nicely over any fitting, you then take your second fitting, which also fits nicely inside.
